DJ

From 2007-2021, Sareen lived in New York City. During his tenure, he DJ’d countless weddings, private parties, club nights, comedy shows, fundraisers, school functions, and held several residencies at notable venues including Pianos, Friends & Lovers, Manhattan Inn, and Artists & Fleas. Most notably, he was the DJ, co-host, and co-creator of the beloved comedy show Brown Privilege Comedy, which was featured in the New York Times and NBC News and regularly showcased the best comedians in the country.

In 2021, Sareen returned to his hometown of Houston, and has since performed at the iconic House of Blues opening for comedian / actor Ronny Chieng; at Rockefeller’s with comedians Mo Amer and Nimesh Patel; at Rice University for Diwali 2023; as well as his own club gigs at Boondocks, Avant Garden, and Sixes & Sevens. He continues to be booked for weddings both in Houston and the NYC / tri-state area, and was flown out to perform at a wedding in Portugal during the summer of 2022.

Sareen brings a wealth of experience and music knowledge to DJing, with sets spanning pop, indie / alternative, hip-hop, R&B, house / electronic, Bollywood, and beyond. Knowing how to read the room is his specialty, and he regularly receives rave reviews for bringing everyone to the dance floor and keeping them there all night.

Sareen is available for weddings, parties, shows, corporate events, and just about anything else you can think of! He is based in Houston with ability to travel to Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, as well as NYC and beyond.
